"Naked" Author Jam - Friday, March 30, 7pm at UNC Asheville

Dear Friends – Please join us on Friday for a reading and celebration of the collaborative novel “Naked Came the Leaf Peeper.” Should be a lot of fun. Several of the collaborators, including yours truly, are current or past instructors for UNC Asheville’s Great Smokies Writing Program. 11 of the 12 collaborators will be attending the event. Also Rob Neufeld reviewed “Naked” in this past Sunday’s Asheville Citizen-Times. Please join us for an evening of “Naked” fun.

Tommy Hays, Director of the Great Smokies Writing Program.

Come to the “Naked” Author Jam at the UNCA Humanities Lecture Hall and meet the wildly creative writers behind the new collaborative serial everyone is talking about: "Naked Came the Leaf Peeper."

Twelve authors based in or near Western North Carolina celebrate Malaprop's 30th Anniversary with their contributions to the serial collaborative novel, Naked Came the Leaf Peeper. John P. McAfee, Susan Reinhardt, Vicki Lane, Tommy Hays, Wayne Caldwell, Fred Chappell, Alan Gratz, Annette Clapsaddle, Gene Cheek, and Linda Marie Barrett outdid themselves as they built upon a story arc brilliantly imagined in the first chapter by Brian Lee Knopp and brought to a laugh-out-loud finish by Tony Earley.

This event is free and open to the public. Give yourself extra time to park and make your way to the Humanities Lecture Hall. This book was published by Malaprop's Bookstore/Cafe! and co-sponsored by the Great Smokies Writing Program at UNC Asheville.
