Introduction to Email & OnePort
Upon becoming a part of the UNC Asheville community each student is given a UNC Asheville email account and an online portal account called an OnePort account. These accounts will be established once your application is received and you are registered for the class. You will generally receive your username and student ID number from your instructor in the first or second week of class. Your email address is "username"@unca.edu. UNC Asheville uses a Gmail-based email system. If you have any questions about your email account, please contact the Asheville Graduate Center at 828.251.6099.

OnePort is a student’s direct connection to services offered by UNC Asheville. Such services include checking midterm and final grades and requesting official transcripts from the university. The username and password for this account is the same as for your UNC Asheville email.

Online Course Evaluations
Checking your UNC Asheville email is important at all times but we especially want to hear from you on the end of course evaluations. One solution is to log into your UNC Asheville email and forward e-mails to an account you check regularly to avoid missing these important communications.
Payment of Tuition and Fees
The non-refundable, one-time $20 application fee and appropriate tuition is due at the time of registration and should be paid via check or money order payable to UNC Asheville. If you wish to pay by Visa or MasterCard, please contact Nancy Williams at 828.250.2353. If you are sending your application fee and tuition at the same time, they can be combined into one check.
Please send all payments to:
